Actor/Director Sydney Pollack dies of cancer at 73.  He is one of the rare director-slash-actor who excelled in both fields. ‘Micheal Clayton’ & ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ shows his acting skills, while ‘Tootsie’ (1982) and  ‘They Shoot Horses, don’t they’ (1969) shows his finesse behind the camera.
